Since its start-up in 1980, Global Telecom has enjoyed phenomenal growth. Global Telecom commenced operations designing, engineering and supplying equipment for Telecommunication POTS External Plant networks throughout the Sub Saharan African region. Over the last 7 years, Global Telecom has incorporated cutting edge technology access products/systems into its portfolio, inclusive of Broadband Wireless Access (BWA), Wireless Local Loop (WLL) and VSAT, whilst still maintaining its traditional core competency in copper and fibre optic networks.

With the emergence of NEPAD and its vision for a revitalised Africa and the subsequent demand for technologies such as VSAT and GSM to provide rapidly deployable communication solutions, Global Telecom has developed a specialised divisions within the company to deal with these specific requirements.

Global Telecom is focused on Africa and telecommunication solutions that meet African requirements. Our networks are engineered and built to withstand the rigorous and demanding conditions found in Africa. Our attention to detail at every connection node of the network, compliance with ISO 900 quality standards and rigorous project planning and rollout, ensures that the highest quality solutions are provided to our clients. Years of experience in the African continent has afforded us the know-how and show-how necessary to advise and support our clients in deploying and managing successful telecommunication networks.
